Punjab Police arrested the suspected main shooter in the fatal shooting of anti-drug activist Parvinder Singh Jhota in Salasar, Rajasthan, on October 14, police accounts said. The arrest came a day after Jhota was shot during a confrontation at a medical store in Mansa, Punjab, and later died from his injuries. Police accounts identified the arrested man as the alleged main shooter. The operation involved Punjab Police and Rajasthan Police, according to Salasar Station House Officer Shankar Lal Bhari. The suspect was taken into Punjab Police custody, and the investigation is continuing.
