Miami Beach police report four arrests in drug investigation
Miami Beach police said four men were arrested Sept. 15 after a monthslong undercover investigation into an alleged drug distribution network, with officers reporting seizures of more than 70 pounds of drugs, $49,557 in cash and a BMW X5. The allegations and seizure details come from police accounts; the supplied reporting does not include court records or independent evidence establishing the alleged conduct. Police did not specify the currency for the reported cash total, although the accounts described it as nearly $50,000. The men named by police were Cesar Suppa, 30, Santiago Lujan, 25, Jhon Ramirez, 39, and Matias Serrano, 29. Police said the investigation began in 2025, when detectives entered a private WhatsApp group used to advertise and sell drugs in large quantities. By April, they had identified a second account displaying a Pink Panther logo, which police said was associated with 2CB, a controlled substance often marketed as pink cocaine. Undercover detectives then went through a vetting process and made purchases of drugs, police said. Those transactions helped investigators identify suspects and trace the alleged network before the arrests.
