Privacy Policy
Verilumia is built to minimize data collection while using limited analytics and subscription services needed to operate, improve, and market the product.
Overview
Our commitment is data minimization: we collect limited technical, campaign, product-use, authentication, and subscription information needed to operate and improve Verilumia. We do not sell personal information or use reading activity to place third-party advertisements inside Verilumia.
This policy explains the services involved, why data is processed, and the choices available to you.
Data Collection
Information You Provide (Optional)
- News Preferences: Categories, topics, app settings, free-use counters, and saved state, generally stored locally on your device.
- Support Messages: Information you send when contacting us for help.
- Sign-in Information: A provider identifier and basic profile details supplied by Google or Apple when you choose to sign in.
Subscriptions
No Password Accounts: Verilumia does not operate a separate username/password system. Optional Google or Apple sign-in connects subscription access across supported platforms.
Subscription Billing: Subscriptions may be purchased through the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or our web checkout.
Provider-Based Access: When you sign in with Google or Apple, we use that provider identity to associate your subscription across supported platforms. We do not operate a separate username/password account system.
Analytics and Campaign Measurement
Google Analytics on the website and Firebase Analytics in the app may process device, app, country, campaign, page/screen, and product-event information. Campaign parameters may be stored locally and attached to subscription analytics. We use this information to measure reliability, feature adoption, paywall performance, and paid marketing. We do not use it to show third-party ads inside Verilumia.
Subscription Processing
RevenueCat, Apple, Google, and web payment providers process identifiers, product selections, trial and subscription status, transaction metadata, country, currency, and renewal events. Verilumia stores normalized RevenueCat events for subscription support, cohort reporting, fraud prevention, and financial analysis.
