Peugeot Unveils RCZ Vision Electric Coupe Concept
Peugeot has unveiled the RCZ Vision, an electric coupe concept that previews the company’s future design and technology but does not confirm a return to production for the RCZ nameplate. The concept was presented ahead of the 2026 Paris Motor Show. Its low, wide proportions measure 4.65 metres long, 1.94 metres wide and 1.35 metres tall. A glass double-bubble roof recalls the original RCZ, which Peugeot produced from 2009 to 2015. The new design also features sculpted sides, horizontal lighting elements and an active rear spoiler that remains hidden when the car is stationary. Peugeot says the concept uses a solid-state battery and a 1,000-volt electrical architecture on Stellantis’ STLA One platform. The company claims a range of up to 373 miles and about 500 horsepower. It also says the battery can charge from 10% to 80% in 10 minutes or less. The figures describe a concept, and the supplied reports do not include independent tests of its performance or charging claims. Peugeot has projected energy consumption of 11.5 kilowatt-hours per 100 kilometres, presenting that figure as a target rather than a verified result. The company has not disclosed a specific battery capacity.
