Alfa Romeo unveils Cuorerosso hybrid V6 concept
Alfa Romeo has unveiled the Cuorerosso, a hybrid V6 concept car intended to shape the design and electrification of future models, not to preview a specific production vehicle. The company presented it at the 2026 Paris Motor Show, pairing a sculpted, low-slung body with a twin-turbocharged 2.9-litre V6 engine and hybridization. It has not disclosed the concept’s power output. Alfa Romeo describes the car as a design manifesto. Its purpose, the company says, is to inspire future models and signal how the brand plans to approach electrification. The concept’s styling includes a reinterpretation of the marque’s Scudetto grille, telephone-inspired wheels and Quadrifoglio performance badge. Its cabin emphasizes a driver-focused layout, with essential instruments and physical controls. The Cuorerosso is not confirmation of a new Giulia, despite its sedan-like proportions. Alfa Romeo CEO Santo Ficili said the first production model to adopt the concept’s styling language is expected in early 2028. He described it as a C-segment SUV intended to replace the Tonale.
