Harry and Meghan Begin Nottingham Charity Visits

Published 15 October 2026

Prince Harry and Meghan made their first joint public appearance in Britain since returning to the country on Thursday, visiting a community recording studio in Nottingham as part of a three-charity itinerary. The couple were greeted by cheering supporters and children outside the Community Recording Studio, where they stopped to speak with people, pose for selfies and shake hands. One woman gave Meghan flowers and hugged her, according to on-site accounts. The visit was the first of three planned stops in the city, with Himmah and Epic Partners also on the itinerary. Nottingham was the site of the couple’s first joint public engagement in 2017, shortly after their engagement was announced. The Community Recording Studio uses music, performance and sports programs to help young people build confidence and practical skills. Harry has supported the studio and Epic Partners, while Meghan has worked with Himmah, a food poverty charity. The appearance brought renewed attention to the couple’s status after they stepped back from royal duties and moved to California in 2020.
