Harry and Meghan plan joint Nottingham charity visit
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are scheduled to visit Nottingham on October 15 for a joint series of charity engagements, their first public engagement together in the United Kingdom since returning in August. The planned itinerary includes the Community Recording Studio and other local projects supporting young people and communities. The visit had not taken place as of October 13, according to the available information. At the Community Recording Studio in St Ann’s, the couple are expected to learn about its work with young people, which includes creative activities, sport, mentoring and youth development. The organisation aims to help those facing challenges such as poverty, instability, exploitation or violence build confidence and practical skills. Other reported stops include youth and community organisations in Nottingham, among them Epic Partners and the Hubb Community Kitchen. The planned appearance follows the couple’s return to the UK in August after living in the United States. It would be Meghan’s first public engagement in Britain with Harry since their return.
