X-Men ’97 Season 3 Preview Shows Deadpool and She-Hulk

Marvel Television has shown footage from the third season of X-Men ’97 featuring Deadpool and She-Hulk at Gambit and Rogue’s wedding, alongside scenes of mutants facing restrictions and a rescue by the Brotherhood. The preview was presented by Marvel Television head Brad Winderbaum at New York Comic Con. The season is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ in 2027. The wedding scene places the two Marvel characters among the guests, but the footage does not establish how large either role will be. Deadpool’s appearance marks his first direct appearance as himself in X-Men ’97, according to the preview coverage. In the earlier series, the character appeared indirectly through Morph’s transformations or a vision. Other scenes depict a city where movement is restricted and mutants need letters of transit to reach Professor X’s school or find shelter. A young mutant is apprehended while trying to cross a border, then rescued by other mutants. When asked whether they are the X-Men, the rescuers identify themselves as the Brotherhood. The footage also shows Storm and Professor X discussing a conflict with the U.S. president.
