Marvel Announces Zodiac and Projects Through 2029
Marvel Television announced a slate of upcoming series and seasons at its New York Comic Con panel on October 8, including Zodiac, a live-action spy thriller scheduled to debut on Disney+ in 2028. Brad Winderbaum, the head of Marvel Television and Marvel Animation, said filming is planned to begin in London in spring 2027. Marvel has not announced the cast or specific story details. Winderbaum also announced three new two-part Marvel Zombies installments, planned for Halloween releases in 2027, 2028 and 2029. The titles are The Winter Soldier, The Fist of Khonshu and The Last Guardian. He did not identify the character referred to in the final title. The announcements extend the animated series’ planned installments across three consecutive years. Marvel showed footage from X-Men ’97 Season 3 and announced that it is scheduled for 2027. The panel also revealed that a fourth season is planned, without giving a release date. In a separate announcement, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 2 was set to premiere on Disney+ on January 13, 2027. VisionQuest, the series following WandaVision and Agatha All Along, is scheduled to premiere on October 14, 2026.
