Disney Believe Set for 2027 Debut With Encanto Show

Disney Cruise Line has announced that its new ship, the Disney Believe, is scheduled to begin sailing from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale on December 18, 2027, with a first stage adaptation of Encanto among its headline offerings. The maiden voyage is planned as part of four- and five-night itineraries to the Caribbean and the Bahamas. Disney says the ship will be the fourth vessel in its Wish class. Bookings for the general public are scheduled to open October 19, 2026, following earlier access for members of the Castaway Club at different membership tiers. The Encanto production, developed for the ship, will follow Mirabel and feature songs including We Don’t Talk About Bruno and Surface Pressure, according to Disney’s announcement. Disney describes it as the first stage adaptation of the film. The ship is also set to feature a new family show with Zootopia characters Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde, as well as a reworked Tangled musical and Disney Seas the Adventure. Dining and gathering spaces will draw on several Disney and Pixar properties.
