New Year’s Rockin’ Eve to Stream on Disney+ in 2027

ABC and Dick Clark Productions have announced that Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest will stream live on Disney+ alongside its ABC broadcast for the first time, as part of the 2027 edition. The simulcast will add a streaming option but will not replace the television broadcast. Ryan Seacrest is returning as host. The announced cohosts are Druski in Chicago, Rita Ora in Times Square, and Julianne Hough and Rob Gronkowski in Las Vegas. ABC and Dick Clark Productions said more details about the lineup would be announced in the coming months. The 2027 program is planned as an eight-hour special. ABC and Dick Clark Productions described it as the longest broadcast in the show’s history. The announcement also outlined performances from locations including New York City, Las Vegas, Chicago, Puerto Rico, Nashville and Kansas City. Further performer details have not yet been announced. The Disney+ stream is a simulcast, not an exclusive: viewers will still be able to watch the special on ABC. The program is also set to be carried on iHeartRadio, according to reporting about the announcement.
