Warriors agree to five-year, $110 million Podziemski deal

Published 11 October 2026

The Golden State Warriors have agreed to a five-year, $110 million contract extension with guard Brandin Podziemski, according to his agent, Bill Duffy, who confirmed the terms to ESPN. The reported deal is fully guaranteed and includes a mutual option for the 2031-32 season. The agreement keeps the 23-year-old guard from reaching restricted free agency next summer. It follows three seasons with Golden State after the team selected him 19th overall in the 2023 NBA Draft. His agent’s confirmation is the basis for the reported contract terms. Podziemski averaged 13.8 points, 5.1 rebounds and 3.7 assists in the 2025-26 season, appearing in all 82 games and starting 43, according to reported statistics. He shot 37.1% from 3-point range and made 153 three-pointers, second on the team to Stephen Curry’s 190. The extension follows a season in which Podziemski recorded career highs in scoring and assists while contributing across the lineup. His availability and expanded responsibilities came as the Warriors managed absences among key players, including Curry and Jimmy Butler, according to one account. Podziemski had averaged 9.2 points as a rookie and 11.7 points in his second season.
