Vivo Announces V80 in India With 7,200mAh Battery
Vivo announced the V80 smartphone in India on October 6, positioning it around photography and battery life. The device pairs a 7,200mAh battery and 90W charging with a 50-megapixel telephoto camera offering 3x optical zoom, a 144Hz display and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor. The rear camera system also includes a 50-megapixel ZEISS main camera with optical image stabilization and an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera. A 50-megapixel front camera is listed among the specifications. The telephoto lens uses optical stabilization, while digital zoom reaches up to 100x, according to the published specifications. Vivo is promoting video features as well as still photography. The V80 supports 4K recording at up to 60 frames per second and offers a 4K Cinematic Video mode with three looks: Modern Movie, Vibrant and Pastel. The company says the modes apply visual treatments during recording. Other listed camera tools include portrait focal-length options and AI-powered editing features.
