Vivo Announces X Fold 6 for Global Markets
Vivo has announced the X Fold 6 for global markets, introducing a foldable smartphone with a 200-megapixel main camera and a 6,900mAh battery. The company has not yet disclosed prices or specific availability dates for individual markets, saying those details will be announced separately. The global model is listed with an 8.02-inch inner display and a 6.51-inch cover display, both using LTPO AMOLED technology and supporting adaptive refresh rates of up to 120Hz. Vivo says the device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super Edition processor and runs OriginOS 7, based on Android 17. Memory and storage options will vary by market, according to the company. The rear camera system comprises a 200-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilisation, a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. The system includes ZEISS-related imaging features. Vivo has also cited improvements to shutter responsiveness, portrait photography and subject tracking. Published specifications describe 20-megapixel cameras on both the inner and cover displays.
