Vivo Confirms V80 India Launch For October 6

Vivo has officially confirmed that its V80 smartphone will launch in India on October 6, 2026 at 12 PM IST, with sales through the Vivo India website, Amazon, Flipkart and offline retail outlets nationwide. The announcement came as the company published product landing pages alongside its e-commerce partners, revealing most of the device's key specifications ahead of the debut. The V80 will be offered in three colour options: Sunrise Anthem, Horizon Blue and Stellar Black. According to the specifications published on Vivo's microsites, the handset carries a 7,200mAh battery, which the company describes as the largest ever fitted to a V-series phone. The battery uses silicon-carbon technology and supports 90W FlashCharge wired charging, which Vivo says can refill the device to 50 percent in roughly 30 minutes. Vivo also claims the cell can deliver up to 14 hours of continuous navigation and up to 39.5 hours of local video playback. Imaging is a central focus of the device. The V80 sports a ZEISS-branded camera system headlined by a 50-megapixel main camera with a Sony LYTIA 700V sensor and optical image stabilisation.
