Ravens rally past Falcons 30-23 in overtime
The Baltimore Ravens rallied from an eight-point deficit in the fourth quarter to beat the Atlanta Falcons 30-23 in overtime Sunday night, with backup quarterback Tyler Huntley driving the comeback and scoring the winning touchdown. Baltimore trailed 23-15 with 2:31 remaining in regulation. Huntley led a late scoring drive, throwing a touchdown pass to Devontez Walker with 40 seconds left. Derrick Henry took a direct snap and ran in the two-point conversion to tie the game at 23. Atlanta had a chance to answer before the end of regulation, but the game went to overtime. The Ravens took possession first and finished a drive that lasted more than seven minutes with Huntley’s one-yard touchdown run, giving Baltimore its first lead since the opening drive. Falcons quarterback Michael Penix Jr. left late in the fourth quarter with what was reported as a rib injury and did not play in overtime. Tua Tagovailoa took over for Atlanta in the extra period. His pass intended for Drake London was intercepted by safety Kyle Hamilton, ending the game. Huntley started in place of Lamar Jackson, who was sidelined with an ankle injury.
