Ravens beat Titans after Jackson exits with ankle injury

Published 4 October 2026

The Baltimore Ravens defeated the Tennessee Titans 24-18 on Sunday after quarterback Lamar Jackson left with an ankle injury late in the first half. Jackson was listed as questionable to return, and Tyler Huntley took over at quarterback to start the second half. The available reports did not establish the injury’s severity or whether Jackson will miss future games. Jackson was sacked on the final play of the first half. He did not return when play resumed, while Baltimore held a 24-7 lead at halftime. Before leaving, he completed 15 of 20 passes for 222 yards and two touchdowns. The Ravens had already kicked a field goal after the sack, according to one account. Huntley played the second half as Baltimore tried to protect its lead. Tennessee narrowed the margin late, but the Ravens retained their advantage after the Titans failed to recover an onside kick, allowing Baltimore to run out the clock. The Ravens’ defense also helped preserve the lead by limiting Tennessee quarterback Cam Ward. Ward threw an interception on the Titans’ second play, and Baltimore held the offense to short completions and several three-and-out possessions, according to the game account.
