PCB moves two Presidents Trophy fixtures from KP

Published 12 October 2026

The Pakistan Cricket Board has moved two Presidents Trophy Grade 1 fixtures from Peshawar and Abbottabad to venues in Sheikhupura and Lahore, with both matches scheduled to begin October 14. Matches in Islamabad and Rawalpindi are set to proceed as planned. Under the revised arrangements, Ghani will play Hyderabad Kingsmen Academy at Rana Naveed Academy in Sheikhupura. The fixture had been scheduled for Imran Khan Stadium in Peshawar. Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited will face Oil and Gas Development Company Limited at the LCCA Ground in Lahore, replacing Abbottabad Cricket Stadium as the venue. The sixth round is the penultimate round of the league stage and is scheduled to begin October 12. The final league round has been pushed back one day and is now scheduled to start October 19. The LCCA Ground is also assigned to host Markhor IT Solutions against Pakistan TV in that round, according to the revised fixture information reported. The venue changes followed the federal government’s declaration of emergency and governor’s rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, according to reports describing the schedule change.
