Meronk wins Dunhill Links and boosts 2027 tour prospects

Published 4 October 2026

Adrian Meronk won the Dunhill Links Championship at St Andrews on Sunday, finishing two shots ahead of Casey Jarvis and Niklas Norgaard after a four-under-par final round of 68. His 20-under total delivered his first DP World Tour victory since 2023 and improved his position in the race to retain tour membership for 2027. Meronk began the final round two shots behind Jarvis and quickly closed the gap with birdies. Jarvis dropped shots at the ninth and 11th, while Meronk moved into the lead with a birdie at the 12th. A birdie at the 14th extended his advantage. Meronk bogeyed the 17th, but Jarvis also lost a shot there and needed an eagle on the final hole to force a playoff. Jarvis’s attempt did not go in, confirming Meronk’s win. The victory came at the Old Course, where Meronk made his professional debut at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship in 2016. The 33-year-old, who previously won DP World Tour Player of the Year in 2023, had moved to LIV Golf in 2024. The Dunhill Links title was his fifth on the DP World Tour and his first professional win since 2025, when he won at LIV Riyadh.
