Bridgeman rallies to win Biltmore Championship

Jacob Bridgeman secured his second PGA Tour victory of 2026 on Sunday, rallying from a significant deficit to win the inaugural Biltmore Championship Asheville by two strokes. The 26-year-old from South Carolina fired a final-round, career-best 10-under 61 at The Cliffs at Walnut Cove to finish at 26-under par for the tournament. Bridgeman began the final round eight shots behind 54-hole leader Neal Shipley. He surged into contention with a bogey-free round that included eight birdies and an eagle. His performance was highlighted by a crucial stretch on the back nine, where he made three consecutive birdies starting at the 13th hole to take control. "When I was over the putt I knew where it was going to go. It was just magical," Bridgeman said. "I just made so many putts." Ben James matched Bridgeman's final-round 61 to finish second at 260. J.T. Poston also shot a 60 on Sunday, narrowly missing a putt on the 18th hole that would have given him a 59. Shipley, who led after 54 holes, struggled to make birdies early in his round and finished tied for third with Ricky Castillo at 263.
