Leaked Fitbit Edge materials show screen and GPS

Published 5 October 2026

Leaked retail materials show a screen-equipped fitness tracker called the Fitbit Edge, with a small oval display and a listed battery life of up to seven days. Google has not confirmed the device, its specifications or whether it will be released. Images and comparison details attributed to Android Headlines show the Edge alongside Google’s Fitbit Air and Pixel Watch 5. The materials describe a tracker with built-in GPS, an altimeter, automatic activity tracking and support for notifications and a limited selection of apps. The comparison table lists compatibility with Android and iOS over Bluetooth. The listed apps include Google Maps, media and music controls, and Find My Phone. One report also names YouTube Music, but the comparison table describes media and music controls without specifying that service. The materials do not establish which operating system the Edge would use, and reports of possible Wear OS support remain unconfirmed. The leaked images show a display that extends toward the device’s edges, with time, date, heart-rate and step-count information, as well as a workout option.
