Hanuman Ansh to release worldwide on September 11

Hombale Films has announced the worldwide theatrical release of the spiritual drama Hanuman Ansh on September 11, 2026, extending its reach to international audiences following a remarkable box office turnaround in India. The film, which has become a sleeper hit, will be distributed overseas by Hombale Overseas in collaboration with local partner Phars Film. Hanuman Ansh, directed by Vishal Chaturvedi and produced under the SWAMbhu Media Network banner, initially opened in Indian theaters on August 7, 2026. It began with a modest opening day collection of around Rs 810 lakh, or approximately Rs 10 lakh net according to some reports. Despite a slow start, the film gained significant momentum due to strong word-of-mouth praise for its devotional subject matter. It has since crossed Rs 54 crore in net collections and over Rs 63 crore in gross collections in India, transforming into a major financial success on an estimated production budget of Rs 2 crore. The film draws inspiration from the life and teachings of Neem Karoli Baba, a revered Hindu spiritual teacher popularly known as Maharajji. It stars Shobhinaw Satyaa in the lead role, with Chandan K.
