Apple’s HomeView hub reportedly set for October 13 unveiling

Published 11 October 2026

Apple is expected to introduce a smart-home hub called HomeView at its October 13 event, according to reporting by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. The device is expected to reach customers around mid-November, after updated Apple TV and HomePod mini products reportedly arrive October 30. The reported hub is designed primarily for Siri and voice control, with a display for viewing information and managing connected home devices. Gurman reported that it will run a limited selection of Apple apps and will not have a dedicated App Store. Touch input will also be available, according to the reports. HomeView is expected to use an A18 chip and come in two configurations. The countertop model is reported to have a speaker base and come in space gray, silver, starlight and pink. A wall-mounted version is expected in space gray and silver. The design and specifications have not been confirmed by Apple. The reported schedule places HomeView after an updated Apple TV set-top box and HomePod mini. Gurman said those products are expected to ship October 30, with HomeView following a few weeks later.
