Apple Announces HomeView Smart Display and Home Lineup

Published 11 October 2026

Apple announced a new smart-home lineup on October 13, led by HomeView, its first smart display, alongside a refreshed HomePod mini and Apple TV 4K. The products extend Apple’s home-device offerings, with HomeView serving as a screen for household information, entertainment and control of compatible smart-home devices. HomeView has a seven-inch display and facial recognition that Apple says can personalize the screen for different household members. The device supports Siri AI, and Apple says it can help users manage connected devices and access personal information. HomeView is priced at $299 in the United States, with preorders open and availability scheduled to begin November 13. Apple announced tabletop and wall-mounted versions. Reports gave differing lists of launch markets, so a complete country list is not established by the supplied information. The new HomePod mini 2 costs $149, with sales scheduled to start October 30. It adds an S10 chip and Sound Glow, which illuminates the speaker’s top in time with music. Although Apple announced Siri AI support, the feature will not be available at launch.
