White and Hearn Dispute Production Role for Fury-Joshua

Published 7 October 2026

Dana White says he will promote and produce the Tyson Fury-Anthony Joshua fight, while Eddie Hearn maintains that contractual restrictions bar White from handling production, leaving the dispute unresolved ahead of the bout scheduled for December 11 in Cardiff, Wales. White reiterated his position at a press conference on October 6, saying he would attend the fight with his production crew. He also said he planned to return to Las Vegas with the crew after the event. White expressed frustration with repeated questions about Hearn and said the attention should be on the two fighters rather than their disagreement. Hearn has said Sela, a company involved in promoting the fight, told him White could not handle television production under the relevant contractual arrangements. Hearn said Sela confirmed that position in writing to him and Netflix. He has characterized White’s claimed production role as a breach of contract. White rejected Hearn’s account and said his claims about his involvement were true. Asked about the possibility of legal action, White said Hearn appeared to have a strong lawsuit.
