Fury-Joshua Bout Remains Advertised Amid Promotional Dispute

The agreement has not been made public, and the competing accounts have not been resolved. White faced repeated questions about the dispute at a Zuffa Boxing press conference in London on Saturday. He said, “We’re promoting the fight right now,” but also said he did not know whether the bout would happen. He was similarly unsure whether a planned press conference on Wednesday would proceed. White said he expected more clarity within three or four days. Hearn’s position is that Joshua’s contract prevents White from being involved in promoting the event. White’s remarks and the public description of the event have presented his role differently.
