Screenshot Appears to Show Kelce Liked Gillis SNL Video

A circulating screenshot appeared to show Travis Kelce liking an Instagram video of Shane Gillis’s Saturday Night Live monologue, prompting online criticism of the Kansas City Chiefs player and the comedian. The reported like has not been independently verified in the accounts available, and Kelce has not publicly explained it in the supplied reporting. Gillis delivered the monologue while guest-hosting Saturday Night Live on October 10. In a segment about returning to the gym, he made disparaging comments about women’s workout clothing, including using a derogatory term to describe women and joking about their shorts. The remarks drew criticism from viewers and public figures. A source close to Kelce said he liked the video to support a friend and because he is a major fan of the show. That explanation was attributed to the unnamed source, rather than to Kelce directly. The reports describe the alleged like as appearing in a screenshot or social-media post; they do not cite independently verifiable Instagram activity. Some users criticized Kelce after the screenshot circulated, interpreting the apparent like as support for Gillis’s remarks.
