Saif Ali Khan Begins Posting Publicly on Instagram

Saif Ali Khan has begun posting publicly on Instagram, where his first message highlighted the Pataudi Library and the actor’s interest in books. The account, under the name Saif Ali Khan Pataudi, appeared to follow only his wife, Kareena Kapoor Khan. The debut marks a change for an actor who has generally kept away from public social media. His first post featured the caption, “Pataudi Library.. Judging books by their cover..” The account displayed a carousel of pictures, including one of Khan with a book. The profile’s following list showed only Kareena Kapoor Khan. She also appeared to follow the account, a detail cited in coverage as supporting its connection to the actor. The reports did not cite independent platform verification or direct confirmation from Khan or his representatives, so the account’s verification status was not established. Khan had spoken about his private use of Instagram in an interview two years earlier. He said he had the app and a secret account, browsed occasionally, but did not enjoy using the platform. He also said he had considered deleting the app.
