Marvel Unveils Avengers: Doomsday Poster, Lord Doom Figure

Marvel Studios has unveiled an international poster for Avengers: Doomsday, showing heroes from across the multiverse facing Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom and his army of Sentinels. The film is scheduled to open in theaters on December 18, 2026. The poster, released for Asian markets, brings together characters from several corners of the Marvel universe. Among those shown are Steve Rogers, played by Chris Evans; Thor, played by Chris Hemsworth; Loki, played by Tom Hiddleston; and Sam Wilson’s Captain America, played by Anthony Mackie. The lineup also includes Gambit, Cyclops, Professor X, Mister Fantastic, Bucky Barnes, Yelena Belova and Shuri’s Black Panther. The image places the heroes amid a confrontation with Doom and the Sentinels. One report describes an incursion cutting through the ruins of Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters, but Marvel has not provided a plot explanation for that image. The poster offers a glimpse of the film’s ensemble and its multiverse conflict, rather than a confirmed account of the story’s events. Licensed Funko merchandise has also introduced the name “Lord Doom” for a Doctor Doom figure based on Downey’s character.
