Four performers reportedly injured filming 9-1-1 Season 10
Four performers, including Oliver Stark, were injured in stunt-related incidents while filming the 10th season of 9-1-1, according to production sources cited in reports. The accounts describe four separate injuries in recent months, including Stark’s broken ankle, but do not establish that the incidents were connected or that safety rules were breached. Stark, who plays firefighter Evan “Buck” Buckley, reportedly broke his ankle during a stunt in late August and required surgery. Production sources said he later returned to work. The stunt involved a firefighter swinging from a car over a set piece to a ladder truck, according to the reports. A stunt double reportedly sprained an ankle while rehearsing the same maneuver and declined medical treatment. Production sources said no injury report was submitted. They also said the stunt’s mechanics were adjusted after the rehearsal injury, before Stark was hurt during the sequence. Two other performers were injured in separate incidents. One required stitches after an arm came into contact with jagged metal on set. Another was hospitalized after an awkward landing on a platform designed to simulate a ground collapse.
