Tom Welling Jokes After Skyline Photo Shows His Reflection

Tom Welling’s Instagram Story showing a New York City skyline also captured his reflection in the hotel window, prompting online attention and a series of jokes from the actor and his former Smallville co-star Michael Rosenbaum. The image appeared on October 9 with the caption “Hello NYCC” and was later deleted, according to reports. The available accounts do not establish whether Welling noticed the reflection before posting it. Welling responded to the reaction on social media, commenting “Came for the sights” beneath a parody video about the window incident. He also joked to a viewer who remarked on the reflection’s visibility that the windows needed cleaning. His replies did not provide a detailed explanation of how the image was posted. Rosenbaum joined the joking with a parody image on Instagram Stories. Wearing a T-shirt and boxers in front of a hotel window, he held a sign reading “offenders.” Welling reposted the image. Their posts became part of the online response after screenshots of the original Story continued to circulate. Reports say Welling’s Story was removed after several hours; one account estimated it remained online for about 10 hours.
