Man dies after entering Yorkshire Wildlife Park tiger enclosure
A man died after entering a tiger enclosure at Yorkshire Wildlife Park near Doncaster on Saturday, October 10, and being attacked, South Yorkshire Police said. Emergency services treated him at the scene, but he was pronounced dead there. The park evacuated visitors and closed after the incident. Police said they received reports at about 1:35 p.m. that a man had entered the enclosure. The tiger attacked him, causing serious injuries, and medical personnel were unable to save him, the force said. Police have not publicly identified the man. His family has been informed and is receiving support from specialist officers.
