Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra announce second pregnancy

Actors Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra announced on October 7 that they are expecting their second child, sharing the news in a joint social-media post. The announcement included a photograph of small baby footwear held in a child’s hand and a message expressing gratitude and excitement about the family’s next addition. The caption read: “Blessed once again with the greatest gift of all. Our hearts are so full of love and gratitude.” Reports described the child in the photograph as the couple’s daughter, Saraayah. The post was shared on Instagram, where one account reported it had received more than 377,000 likes within an hour. The pregnancy announcement itself has not been independently confirmed in the supplied reporting; the accounts describe the couple’s post. The announcement followed public discussion of Malhotra’s experience as a father. In an account of a Bigg Boss 20 episode, Malhotra spoke warmly about fatherhood and his daughter. When host Salman Khan joked that the couple might have another child, Malhotra did not confirm a pregnancy, according to that account. The social-media post on October 7 was the couple’s direct announcement.
