Eva Marie Saint, the Oscar-winning actor whose career ranged from live television and Broadway to films including On the Waterfront and North by Northwest, has died at 102, according to reports citing her representative, Jeff Sanderson. Saint made her film debut in 1954 as Edie Doyle in Elia Kazan’s On the Waterfront, starring opposite Marlon Brando. She won the Academy Award for best supporting actress for the performance. Five years later, Saint starred opposite Cary Grant in Alfred Hitchcock’s North by Northwest.
