Kelly Osbourne Says She Regained Nearly 30 Pounds

Published 12 October 2026

Kelly Osbourne said she was shocked by photographs of herself at the February 2026 BRIT Awards and has since regained nearly 30 pounds, describing the weight loss as occurring during a period of grief and difficulty caring for herself after her father’s death. In an interview, Osbourne said she had not realized how thin she looked until she saw pictures from the ceremony. She said eating made her feel as though she might vomit, but maintained that her weight loss was not caused by an eating disorder. Her account of the weight change and its causes comes from her own statements. Osbourne described the period after her father, musician Ozzy Osbourne, died in July 2025 as exceptionally difficult. She said that, at a low point, she went to his grave to ask for help. She also said her mother, Sharon Osbourne, later introduced her to therapist and life coach Chris Miller, whom she credited with helping her. The reported gain has been described as nearly 30 pounds since the BRIT Awards and, in one account of Osbourne’s interview, as 28 pounds over six months. Both figures concern her reported recovery after the awards appearance; the reports do not provide dated measurements.
