Iran vows new weapons as Trump weighs options in war

Iran warned Monday it would introduce new weapons and expand the geography of the conflict if the United States launches a fresh attack, as President Donald Trump weighed his next move in the nearly seven-month war. The escalating threats from both sides underscore a stalemate with no clear path to resolution, even as regional violence and economic disruption continue. IRGC spokesman Hossein Mohebbi stated that Iran would change both its arsenal and its targets if U.S. forces strike again. "We will introduce new weapons with new capabilities into the battle, and the world will be astonished," Mohebbi said, according to reports. He claimed Iran holds targets that have not yet been hit and is ready for a long fight. The Iranian military also said it had information that an attack was being prepared, without elaborating. Trump, speaking Sunday, said he is in "deciding mode" and outlined three options for Iran: "Wipe it out, let it rot with the economy, or make a deal." He cautioned that "big things could follow" if Tehran does not behave.
