Trump in deciding mode on Iran, warns of big things ahead

"My question is, if and when do I blow the entire nation up? They better behave," Trump said. The remarks came hours after Iran conveyed seven conditions to the United States through Qatari mediators for starting negotiations to end the conflict. Mohsen Rezaei, the head of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, stated that Tehran's demands include ending the war on all fronts, releasing frozen Iranian assets, and lifting the U.S. naval blockade of Iranian ports. Rezaei said Iran is awaiting a response from President Trump. Despite the sharp rhetoric, Trump signaled a potential diplomatic opening. He said he would "probably be open" to meeting Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, with the possibility of talks on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
