GTA 6 PC Release Reportedly Targeted for Q1 2027
Rockstar Games is reportedly targeting the first quarter of 2027 for the PC release of Grand Theft Auto 6, according to a report based on four anonymous industry sources familiar with the company’s plans. Rockstar has not confirmed the window, and the reported schedule could change. The reported target would put the PC version’s release between January 1 and March 31, 2027. GTA 6 is scheduled to launch first on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 19, 2026. If both schedules hold, PC players would get the game after its console debut, within a few months. The four accounts are cited in a single report, so they do not amount to independent public confirmation. The reporting said a Rockstar representative did not respond to a request for comment before publication. No PC launch date has been announced by the company. A first-quarter target would mark a shorter console-to-PC wait than for several previous major Rockstar releases. Grand Theft Auto 5 arrived on PC in April 2015, about a year and seven months after its September 2013 console release. Red Dead Redemption 2 reached PC in November 2019, more than a year after its October 2018 console debut.
