Drake Representative Denies He Fathered Keshia Chanté’s Baby

Published 7 October 2026

A representative for Drake has denied that the rapper fathered Keshia Chanté’s expected baby boy, after the singer announced her pregnancy without publicly identifying the child’s father. The denial is attributed to Drake’s representative; Chanté has not named the father, and the information available does not independently establish paternity. Chanté announced her first pregnancy on October 6 and said she is expecting a son. In an interview published the same day, she described her partner as ready to start a family and said she hoped their child would inherit his mannerisms and creativity. She did not identify him. Her announcement also joked that the baby already had a studio secured and an album expected in summer 2027. The remarks and the pair’s publicly discussed history prompted speculation online that Drake was the father. His representative rejected that claim in a statement relayed to entertainment media, calling it false or inaccurate. The denials came through the same representative, so their repetition does not independently verify the statement’s contents.
