Ciara Miller and Brandon Armstrong leave DWTS after Week 4

Published 7 October 2026

Dancing With the Stars eliminated Ciara Miller and professional partner Brandon Armstrong after its Mariah Carey-themed Week 4 episode, which aired October 6. The episode featured performances to Carey’s songs and ended with the competition’s latest departure. Post-show accounts reported that Miller and Armstrong received the lowest combined total of judges’ scores and viewer votes. The reports did not provide vote totals or details of how the two measures were calculated. The couple performed a jazz routine to “Emotions”; one recap said the judges awarded it 21 out of 30 points. Maura Higgins and Mark Ballas earned the evening’s highest reported score, 25 out of 30, for their waltz to “If It’s Over.” Jenna Dewan and Val Chmerkovskiy scored 24 for a rumba to “My All,” while Ezra Frech and Daniella Karagach also received 24 for their rumba to “Anytime You Need a Friend.” The episode’s performances drew on Carey’s catalogue, including “Fantasy,” “Hero,” “Obsessed,” “Touch My Body” and “Vision of Love.” Before the performances, Carey sent contestants a video message cheering them on. She said she wished she could attend but would be watching from afar.
