CD Projekt Red Developing Witcher 3 Switch 2 Patch

CD Projekt Red says it is developing a separate patch for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered on Nintendo Switch 2, with improvements planned for image clarity and sharpness. The studio has not announced a release date, and the Switch 2 update is not the same as the hotfix already released for PlayStation 5 and PS5 Pro. The studio said it is working to deliver the Switch 2 patch as soon as possible and expects to provide players with more information soon. It has not published a complete list of changes or specified when the update will arrive. The visual improvements are the only Switch 2-specific changes identified in the reported patch information. Hotfix 5.01b is available for the PS5 and PS5 Pro versions. CD Projekt Red described it as making stability improvements to help provide a more reliable experience. The available description does not identify particular bugs or provide a detailed list of fixes. The two updates are separate: the PlayStation hotfix has been released, while the Switch 2 patch remains in development. The PlayStation release therefore does not establish that the Nintendo update has arrived or indicate when it will be available.
