Bitcoin ETF inflows extend streak as daily estimates diverge
U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds recorded net inflows on September 28, extending their positive-flow streak to eight trading sessions, although the daily total was sharply lower than earlier in the run. Estimates differed substantially: reports based on SoSoValue data put net inflows at about $31.07 million, while a separate report quoting Lookonchain gave $145.71 million. The available information does not explain the gap between the figures. In the SoSoValue-based account, BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust, known as IBIT, led with $54.84 million in inflows. Grayscale’s Bitcoin Mini Trust added $10.32 million. Those gains were partly offset by $23.19 million in outflows from Grayscale’s GBTC and $10.90 million from Fidelity’s FBTC, leaving the sector’s net total at $31.07 million. That figure marked the weakest daily inflow of the eight-session stretch, according to the same data. Daily inflows had approached $1 billion on September 21, then declined through the following sessions. The funds nonetheless attracted about $2.4 billion over the preceding week, their strongest weekly total since October 2025, one report said.
