Strive Adds 1,107 Bitcoin, Raising Holdings to 27,462
Strive disclosed that it bought 1,107 bitcoin for $94.5 million from September 21 through September 25, lifting its holdings to 27,462 BTC and keeping it fifth among publicly traded companies by bitcoin reserves. The company reported an average purchase price of $85,396 per bitcoin in a Form 8-K filing. The filing showed Strive’s holdings rose from 26,355 BTC to 27,462 BTC after the purchase. The company’s bitcoin treasury was valued at about $2.3 billion in reports, though the estimate depends on the bitcoin price and the time used for valuation. Strive also reported that cash and cash equivalents increased to $248.8 million from $229.6 million. CEO Matt Cole said on X that warrant exercises generated $12.4 million and that SATA, the company’s perpetual preferred stock, supplied 85% of capital raised during the week. Those funding details were attributed to Cole’s statement. Strive’s latest bitcoin addition was smaller than the 1,355 BTC purchase reported for the previous week. Its position remains behind Strategy, Twenty One, Metaplanet and MARA, according to reported public-company bitcoin rankings.
