Strive Reaches 25,000 BTC Treasury After $36.6M Purchase

Published 15 September 2026

Strive, a Nasdaq-listed Bitcoin treasury company, has reached a milestone of 25,000 BTC in its corporate treasury following a recent purchase. The company disclosed in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission that it acquired 469 Bitcoin between September 8 and September 11, 2026, for approximately $36.6 million. The transaction was executed at an average price of $77,954 per Bitcoin, including fees and expenses. The acquisition was funded entirely through proceeds from sales of Strive's SATA perpetual preferred stock, according to CEO Matt Cole. This financing method allowed the company to add to its Bitcoin holdings without issuing new common shares. The notional value of SATA outstanding has now surpassed $1 billion, with the share count increasing to approximately 10.4 million during the purchase period. Strive's total Bitcoin holdings now stand at exactly 25,000 BTC, up from 24,531 BTC the week prior. The company's treasury has grown significantly from 14,557 BTC in April 2026. This rapid accumulation has positioned Strive among the top publicly traded corporate Bitcoin holders globally. The company's stock price has rallied alongside its treasury growth.
