Bitcoin ETFs Log Record 2026 Inflows Near $1 Billion
U.S. spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds recorded approximately $998.9 million in net inflows on Monday, September 21, 2026, the largest daily intake of 2026 and the biggest since October 6, 2025, according to SoSoValue data. BlackRock's IBIT led the flows with about $381 million, followed by ARK 21Shares ARKB at roughly $289 million and Fidelity's FBTC at about $239 million. The inflows came alongside a sharp price move. Bitcoin briefly surged above $87,000 on Monday, its highest level since January 2026, before trading around $85,400 early Tuesday, up 4.7% over the prior 24 hours. Ether gained 2.5% to $2,730 over the same period. Analysts offered differing explanations for the rally, and no single catalyst was confirmed.
