Apple Raises Prices on New and Older iPhones

Apple has raised prices on its latest iPhone 18 Pro models and several older iPhones still available in its lineup, a move that follows the company's recent product announcements. The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max now start at $1,199 and $1,299, respectively. The company also introduced its first foldable device, the iPhone Duo, with a starting price of $1,999. These new models are priced higher than their immediate predecessors. In an unusual step for the company, Apple has also increased the prices of older iPhones that remain in its product catalog. For instance, the iPhone 16, which had previously seen a price cut, has returned to its original launch price of $799. The iPhone 17 now starts at $899, and the iPhone Air at $1,099, both representing increases from their launch prices. The iPhone 17e also saw a price bump, now costing $699. Some of the most significant price increases are for higher-capacity configurations of the new Pro models.
