Anthropic Q3 Revenue Reported at $16.8 Billion

Published 15 October 2026

Anthropic’s third-quarter revenue reached $16.8 billion, up 45% from the previous quarter, according to figures an investor said the company shared at a pre-IPO meeting. The financial results have not been published by Anthropic and remain unconfirmed by audited statements. The investor, who attended the San Francisco meeting, said revenue was $4.7 billion in the first quarter and $11.6 billion in the second. The reported third-quarter figure represents an increase of $5.2 billion from the second quarter. Those quarterly amounts and the growth rate come from the same attendee’s account, rather than independently published company financials. Anthropic also told the meeting it was profitable on an adjusted basis in the third quarter, the investor said. The account did not provide a figure for adjusted profit. Anthropic did not immediately respond to a request for comment, according to one report. A prospectus for a public offering would give investors a way to compare the reported revenue with audited figures and examine costs, including the expense of developing and operating AI systems. No prospectus or confirmed listing timetable is included in the reported information.
