Published 8 October 2026

Tata Consultancy Services reported a 14.9% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit for the quarter ended September 2026, alongside higher revenue and annualised artificial intelligence revenue of $3.1 billion. The Indian IT services company posted profit of ₹13,884 crore and revenue from operations of ₹73,188 crore for the second quarter of its 2026-27 financial year. Revenue rose about 11.2% from the same quarter a year earlier, while profit increased from ₹12,075 crore. Compared with the preceding quarter, revenue grew 1.3% and profit rose 4%, according to the reported results. TCS’s operating margin was 24%. Annualised AI revenue increased from $2.6 billion in the June quarter to $3.1 billion in the September quarter. TCS said the figure represented more than 10% of its revenue. The measure is an annualised run rate, rather than revenue earned solely during the three-month period. Chief Executive Officer K. Krithivasan said the company saw broad-based growth across international markets and most industry segments. He highlighted deals with Porsche and Best Buy, describing them as transformation partnerships.
