Aerosmith Announces Two Hollywood Bowl Shows

Published 7 October 2026

Aerosmith will return to the stage for two performances at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on October 29 and November 1, the band announced Wednesday, more than two years after it said it was retiring from touring. The concerts, billed as California, Dream On Aerosmith Friends, will feature a changing roster of guest artists. The announced guests include The Black Crowes, Run DMC, Heart, Billy Idol, Eric Church, Slash, Sammy Hagar, Tom Morello, Chad Smith, Duff McKagan, Jerry Cantrell and Marcus King, among others. Don Was will serve as music director. Organizers say additional guests and surprise appearances will be announced, while final lineups for each night are expected at or near showtime and remain subject to change. The announcement confirms two performances but does not specify whether Aerosmith plans to resume touring or schedule further shows. The band’s 2024 retirement announcement concerned touring; the Hollywood Bowl dates are a limited return to live performance, and the available details do not establish a broader change in its plans.
