USS Abraham Lincoln Arrives in Thailand for Shore Leave

The USS Abraham Lincoln arrived in Thailand on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, marking the first extensive shore leave for its nearly 5,000 sailors and Marines after a record-setting deployment of more than 250 consecutive days at sea. The aircraft carrier docked at Laem Chabang port in Chonburi province, ending a marathon stint in the Middle East that began in November 2025 and was extended due to the war with Iran. The deployment, which started from San Diego on November 21, 2025, set a modern-era record for uninterrupted days at sea.
